Have to go back to try and boost this rating. The burgers were a 8.5 of 10. Beware that the onion rings are not onion rings, but thin sliced hoagie onions that have been deep fried, not my thing. The service however was about a 4. Soup came when the meal did, waitresses mind seemed to be somewhere else. Getting... More

This restaurant has that old fashion feel with a great modern restaurant. It features a great burger menu along with a decent mount of other sandwiches both hot and cold. It features some unusual soups of the day and a variety of appetizers and salads. Mondays feature a burger special with burger, their special onion rings and a dessert. Tuesdays... More

An Allentown stable..nothing pretentious, just good food and service. It is what you would expect from your local family owned restaurant. Don't expect fancy decor, but do expect feeling welcomed. Soups, burgers, and a variety of weekly dinner offerings are constant features on the menu.

This family-run business has been in operation since the 1960's and draws a nice clientele with their daily specials. Everything I've ever ordered has been first-rate. the staff is extra-friendly and remembers who you are and your special likes. Each day, there are specials and special soups. My favorites are the Seafood Bisque and the New England Clam Chowder, but... More

The atmosphere is a bit dated but don't let that stop you from going! Their food is awesome! I love "mom and pop" style restaurants! They are known for their juicy burger and onions straws! I like their hot open face turkey sandwich. They also have corn nuggets which not many places offer anymore.

We frequently order burgers, soup, salads and sandwiches for lunch. Sometimes in house and sometimes to go, this is always a good choice! The special salad is a favorite (I change it to romaine lettuce) with chicken, apples or strawberries (in season), candied nuts and cheese. They also have the best raspberry vinaigrette dressing I have tried. Always a great... More

We are in Allentown for a few days for my wife's knee surgery. We came down the night before and decided to find a place to eat that was not fancy but had good ratings. What a find. The food was delicious and served piping hot. Our waitress was very cordial and checked on us numerous times during our meal,... More

Went for lunch recently and ordered burgers and fries- one of the few places in the LV that makes fresh-cut french fries. Good food but the atmosphere was that of a small diner. Will go back for lunch but would probably not eat dinner there.

Thank Chizette
