Food was good, place looks like a wreck from the outside. Expensive, but would be nice for a romantic evening

We found Finelli's via TripAdvisor and decided to have dinner there on our only night in Altoona. It was fantastic; the portions are very generous! Appetizers definitely should be shared. We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive wine list. Desserts were, as promised, delicious. Service was great too😊

The food is fantastic and they make you feel like family. When you are done eating, go back to the bar and have a drink with Mr Finelli. Always a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just hang with friends. I will be back. Great Italian food from a great Italian family. Thanks Chef Tony and family for... More

Finelli's is the ONE to go to for a great fine dining experience. We usually end up going there about once a month. The staff/owners are very friendly and the specials are varied. We often go there for their wonderful tasting steaks. Actually, I have not had a traditional Italian dish there yet although others in our party have and... More

We went here because it is ranked first in trip advisor in Altoona. Well, it's a good spot but best? I've been to better in Altoona. I had the veal Marsala that was god but a little overpowering on the wine. The tossed salads are good with the Italian, but nothing to rave about. My wife had the veal with... More

A bit dated this place embodies all that is great with hometown local restaurant. Wonderful family service. Best place I have been to in Altoona.

Family owned and good food, can get expensive with add-ons and alcohol. Appetizer 'stuffed artichokes ' are wonderful!

I usually to round up the fam when visiting Altoona and head to Finelli's. The food is superb, the best Italian I have had in PA., and I think we would all agree and I have a bunch of discriminating pallets in the bunch. The desserts - simply amazing, homemade by Mrs. Finelli daily. Do yourself a "flavor" and stop... More

My husband and I flew into PA for the Penn State-Ohio State game this past weekend and stayed at a nearby hotel in Altoona. I had been researching places to eat in Altoona and am so glad that we made a reservation for dinner here one of the nights on our trip. The restaurant is so cute and we were... More

It is hard to find a 5 star restaurant that still caters to its customers. Usually the chef makes his coarse and it is take it or leave it. Here you get great food and if you have an allergies to some item let them know and they will make it for you with out that item. Service and great... More
