We are locals from the area and have tried this restaurant several times over the years. We have wanted to like it, as many seem to, but are closing the door on our attempts after tonight. I'm not even going to get into our long wait or messed up order. Ultimately I feel like the food is a letdown. For... More

My steak was perfect! It was tender and had a wonderful taste! My husband had the country fried steak, it was also very good. Each meal comes with 3 sides so we ordered a variety: okra, mushrooms, green tomatoes, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans....it was all great. The decor is cute and save room for dessert!!!!!!

Charming old-time southern general store atmosphere. I enjoyed fried flounder, two large pieces, fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms....everything so good. The fish was so fresh. My husband had grilled shrimp, 12 large and sides of cole slaw, and mac and cheese. We will make this a regular stop on our trips to Mt. Pleasant. You will not be disappointed.... More

Stopped here on the way to Charleston from Myrtle Beach for a day trip. Recommended by a co-worker. Very good, I had the lunch special, flounder, shrimp, oysters. Very fried but, so...so good. Wife had oyster, bacon, fried green tomatoes po-boy. Huge and good. Two down notes however. Soft drinks are served in a can so there is no refills.... More

We tried this tonight based on the reviews. I don't even give reviews usually but this place was especially bad. The service was terrible and the food was cold and over priced. My son ordered the crab legs and they were cold served with cold butter. He didn't even eat them, and he's 12. 12 year old boys eat anything!... More

To your grandmother's house for amazing home cooking. This is our second time and it was still great.... the shecrab soup, the shrimp and grits.... oh my. The staff is friendly, the accommodations are warm and inviting. If you are a difficult or high maintenance person... please go over pay somewhere down town Charleston, and leave the Seewee for rest... More
