Retro eatery. Cash only. Great Coffee, breakfast, and lunch specials. Hardly ever have to wait more than a few min's to get seated.

There were 3 specials to choose from: chicken fried steak, beef tips and rice, or fried catfish. All entrees come with fried okra, mashed potatoes, red beans, roll, iced tea, and dessert. All for $7.15. So much food that I could not eat dessert.

I ordered the chicken strips with fries and a roll. Also got some banana pudding. The chicken was excellent. Fresh and not too much batter like some places. The fries were just average. The roll was yummy. It was big. The banana pudding was tasty!

All the food was excellent except gravy was bland, but I find this at lots of restaurants. Well worth the stop.

We had breakfast, Wow it was great. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. I had over easy eggs they were just right. Biscuit & gravy were good, I ordered ham, mistake, it was sandwich meat. Wife had scrambled the were good, hash browns were ok.

Went on weekend for late breakfast, very busy place. Food was ok, no kids breakfast menu, but they do offer kids menu for lunch. Staff keeps coffee cup full all the time. Nice little place.

Reminds me of being at grandma's and getting a good potato, egg, and ham breakfast! They have tall fluffy biscuits, great breakfast meats, and great Homestyle hash browns. Their staff makes you feel at home, brings drinks right away and treats you like cousins. I highly recommend breakfast, not for anything healthy, just a good stick to your bones Saturday... More

Good food, large portions, light and fluffy biscuits. Gravy was a bit bland for me tasty. Staff was efficient, very busy but we had coffee refills regularly. Homey atmosphere. A little rough looking on the outside. And if you're into pigs everywhere you'll love it. We would definitely stop there again.

My family has had many Saturday morning breakfasts at the Dixie Pig over the years. When I worked night shifts at the hospital, I even ate a cheeseburger there at breakfast time, so you can get a "lunch" during breakfast hours. My husband and son think everything at the Dixie Pig is good, but they tend to order two things:... More
