I am from Houston and there is a Whole Foods Market here. BUT this one in Austin is an extravaganza of Whole Foods Market. It is huge. Staff is very nice and friendly. It is very clean and I simply enjoyed being there looking at all the selection of food. Just one note, there is only one lady's bathroom and... More

This store is HOPPING! Once you find a parking spot, make your way through the store and decide what you want to eat. Taco bar, sandwiches, sushi, seafood and good old TX BBQ! On the visit we had BBQ plates. Choice of meat and two sides. Beef , beans and cheesy grits hit the spot. Also great for takeout.

I always wanted to try oysters so my husband took me to the Whole Food Market as he knew there you'll get a great quality of oysters. We saw how they got prepared. We had 2 sort of oysters. Garlic ones and spicy ones. On both types they put some Spanish Manchego cheese on top. The oysters also came with... More

I am usually weary of Whole Foods but I have to admit… this one is AWESOME. Think Disneyland of Whole Foods. Multiple restaurants, buffets, tasting bars, walking in beer cooler. It was epic! Right in the heart of downtown Austin.

Yes, it's pricey, but wholey moley, there's so much here. You can eat fresh seafood, prepared right in front of your eyes (daily specials are delicious); you can eat from the huge buffet, that always has all salad makings, along with a Worldly buffet of-the-day. There's a soup bar. There's a pizza shop, a juice/coffee/ smoothie shop, a pasta bistro,... More

Unbelievable, vegan foodie experience! There's nothing like it. I can not say enough about how much I LOVE this place!!! Customer service is outstanding! Nothing like it. Cashier went, and found a black and white Whole Foods insulated bag for me. Another cashier told me the crackers I was about to purchase were not vegan. I was in a rush... More

This is a good place to go to the fish counter, select oysters, and the very nice folks will shuck the oysters and ice them down for you. You can enjoy them at Whole Foods. The fish soups and chowders are also delicious.

The Austin Whole Foods is so much more complete than the San Antonio versions. The employees are super and we are always able to find everything we came for.

Check out this flagship store, it's still a Whole Foods, but it's really big and really cool. I think the area is called West End and check out the nearby shops too!

Whole Foods flagship store at corporate headquarters is a must see while in Austin. Stroll around the mega store and take a break for refreshment and any of their many food and beverage stations throughout the store. Great indoor activity when the weather is not cooperating.
