Stopped at Max's Wine Dive late evening. Atmosphere is great for enjoying a glass of wine. The bartender was very helpful with recommendations. I would recommend asking the price, was shocked when the bill arrived.

My friends had the crab cakes and said they were the best they had ever had. Same for the chicken and the artichoke dip. The meatloaf was delightful. If you want good food, I highly recommend Max's wine dive.

This evening it was ok. Usually we have good service and the food is hot when it comes out, but not this time. The fried chicken was way over cooked and even very dark on the outside. I had the meatloaf and usually it is...More

Get a chicken dish- preferably fried- as that is pretty standout and delicious. After that... well you are on your own. Oh wait... the Brussel sprouts were amazing because they tasted nothing like brussel sprouts. Stay far away from the shrimp and grits. Please. And...More

The gluten-free fried chicken is worth the wait (and the weight gain) and can be ordered a la carte. The garden salad is so good that I went back and had it a second time during this recent trip. And the cheese board was magically...More
