This little hole-in-the-wall is a short trip from my abode, AND my office, so that's a plus right off the bat. Fortunately, it also has excellent BBQ. My favorite for a quick lunch is to run in and grab a chopped beef sandwich. They are excellent - fresh bun, fresh meat, great taste, fast service. I've had pretty much everything... More

Walked in and asked gentleman what the best two meats were for the combo plate, he said he loved the links but everyone gets addicted to the Ribs and Brisket. That was the best barbecue I've ever eaten, an exceptional meal to eat. Don't forget the sauce, it has bite. I will come back to Austin, just to eat at... More

Just a great group of people working to feed the locals great BBQ. I had the pork loin and my buddy had "wet" Brisket on our last trip. The brisket was reported to me that it is as good as it gets. Smoke ring was beautiful. The pork loin was nice and tender with a light smokey flavor. I liked... More

Been to Vic's many times. Fairly simple restaurant with great BBQ. I had the sampler platter: sausage, ribs, chicken, brisket. All were dang delicious! If you are near the airport and looking for a good BBQ joint, Vic's is the place to go. It's like going to an indoor picnic!

Dry meats across the board. Typical processed potato salad and bannana pudding was instant jello with a wafer. Service was mediocre. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Should have waited in line for franklins.

The ribs and smoked chicken were good because they had a nice rub on them. The brisket was kind of plain, and we didn't like the BBQ sauce too much.

Old-school, hometown Austin BBQ. Minutes from the airport and friendly service. I recommend "The Duke" sandwich since it has just about everything piled onto it. Cafeteria-style service.

I liked the quick line cafeteria style service...I thought the brisket and ribs combo was very good along with tasty sides....I thought the price was a little steep for the 2meat/2rib combo with a tea/tip...an $18 lunch...I will go back and try the sandwich next time...all in all I would recommend Vics...good choice

The food was just mediocre, I didn't care to much for it my husband liked it though. I order brisket and sausage I found it lacking in flavor. I think the employees could be a little more friendly. The corn was very good.

The brisket is moist and flavorful. The sauce is also very good. No line right at noon. Overall great BBQ experience.
