Best chicken salad sandwich I've had in a long time. And the fries are wonderful, crispy. The BLT was filling (a fried egg is included on the sandwich!) Wait staff was friendly and competent. Very nice experience.

After admiring all the art and handcrafts displayed at Heartwood we decided to have lunch in the Cafe. Good choice with good food and a delightful view of Southwest Virginia from our table by the window. The meal was fresh and nicely prepared and they even were serving pintos and cornbread. Delightful.

Located along I-85 in Abingdon, Va. The food is very well prepared in a clean environment. Trout, pulled pork and deserts were enjoyed. The wait staff is very attentive and seem happy to help the dining public.A good place to stretch your legs along the interstate while looking at crafts made by local artisans.

We stopped in for lunch on Labor Day. The place was nearly empty but it was open. The menu isn't large but has a variety of good choices. We enjoyed salads and soups, which were freshly prepared with quality ingredients. Service was very attentive. We'd recommend!

We had heard good things, so the wife, daughter and I drove the 45 minutes to visit. I am so very glad we did! I had the farmer's breakfast- biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, eggs, bacon, and the best grits I have ever had. My daughter has some pretty amazing pancakes and the wife had a beautiful and delicious burger... More

On our way to Bristol after a great stay in Abingdon we decided to stop here and discovered a farm-to-table cafe! Cobb salad and gazpacho were fresh and unique, the barbecue was tasty and the fries were hand cut from real potatoes! Service was good and timing was perfect for a rest from the road! There is a patio with... More

We have dined here for lunch before, and it was a solid 4/5. This time, we wanted to go light and my wife had salad and quiche and I had tomato bisque and quiche. We were right at lunchtime, and we both know better than to order quiche later than lunch. Nonetheless, I hinted that we like our quiche warm... More

Wanted to visit the attraction for its shopping and exhibits on mountain music, but got there in time for Sunday brunch. Sat outside on a sunny day in the 70s with a great view of the mountains. A great waiter, he was attentive and funny, and did everything right. And the food was excellent. Had a BLT with a fried... More

This place is ideal for a classy dinner with beautiful view inside and outside. It is located inside the Artisan Center, which has great architecture and interior designing. The customer service is great. The food has delicious taste and large portions. The briskets with coleslaw and beans are the best in the menu. It is a little pricey though. The... More
