This used to be my favorite coffee house by far. Not any more. Service is a lot worse since the new owners took over. Standing in line for 20 minutes to get coffee is ridiculous. I've given this place a couple of chances after the first bad experience and won't be back. I don't see this place lasting too long... More

It's such a neat building with a great patio, and right near the train track. But the service has dropped like a rock. We ordered quiche at the same time. I got mine 20 minutes before my sister got hers. Some strangers sitting in the restaurant came over and told us that the service had become terrible. AC&T, are you... More

The coffee was flavorful, the help was beyond friendly and cheerful. I will definitely be making this a usual spot.

Great variety of teas and coffees - I had my first Tusker beer here. Tis is the beer of choice for Ernest Hemingway. Fromer their websirte, "Tusker is a beer brand owned by East African Breweries, with over 700,000 hectolitres being sold in Kenya per year. It is also the largest African beer brand in the Diageo group. It is... More

Stopped here after attending a road race in Ashland in late August. The place is not very clean; my wife and I had to wipe off a table. The menu is written in chalk on a door. I ordered food from a disinterested employee behind the counter, who mumbled that if I wanted to order tea, I had to go... More

In need of a good cleaning and some remodeling. Seemed very outdated and worn. Food was mediocre and the service was poor. Resembles an old college hangout which it pretty much is. Might be good for the evening music in the large room adjacent but we wouldn't go back.

Recently my daughter and I I stopped here to get a cup of tea. The selection was decent, but the service was rather slow.

My husband and I made our first visit since the management changed at Ashland Coffee and Tea. I was hoping for a positive change, but unfortunately, the service remains poor, the menu has not changed and the atmosphere is dark and dirty. I don't think our waitress cracked a smile all night. Of course, she didn't have much to smile... More

We go for the entertainment, which is fine but food-wise--No decade expresso? The place could be a little gold mine if handled properly--doesn't look like this management has what takes!! They still don't accept credit cards and it's been a month since new management took over.

Perhaps it was the many bicyclists coming in all at the same time that caused confused orders and backups. The staff seemed flustered and inexperienced. However, they were trying hard to please and mostly succeeded. This could be a comfortable place to hang out and eat simple, healthy meals. The iced coffee starts with coffee ice cubes to which you... More
