Lovely and attentive staff, tasty food and authentic decor - would recommend! We had the crab starter which was delicious and then the prawn moqueca - and it was really hard to choose from such a good menu.

In this very simple and small restaurant I had one of the best meals of my life. The owner is a researcher of ingredients and recipes of Bahia that have been vanishing from everyday life. The flavors and originality of the plates are outstanding. A Poquequa for 2 is just R$80. It is unforgettable. I came back the next and... More

Incredible array of fascinating, super authentic Bahian dishes cooked to a very high standard. Many obscure ingredients and dishes that I sadly did not encounter again in my trip across Bahia. The side of coconut rice that accompanied the moqueca was so simple, but one of the most delicious things I've eaten across two trips to Brazil. I would consider... More

Very simple, clean and welsoming restaurant in Rio Vermelho área of Salvador Bahia. Good food: for starters try the abará...just perfect. Then Moqueca de Camarão com Maturi (a stew of shrimp and green - unripe - cahsew nuts with vatapá and a side order of Caruru (okra, smoked shrimp, peanuts, cashew nuts and dendê oil). Great food, well prepared. Them... More

We came for the seafood feijoada, and it was very good. The decor is nice, but the air conditioning wasn´t working properly and it was too hot inside.

Very good choice in Rio Vermelho neighborhood for local Bahia cuisine. Food was really good (try the Arroz de Hauça) as was the Tamarindo Caipiroska, which is a must try. Decor is more on the Spartan side, but it's ok. Service was corteous, but slow. Worth the visit!

Really good place to try the local Bahian food, but i believe at this time of year it is only open for lunch. can be found down a small side street and good and clean inside and much better than it looks from the outside.
