I had a nice "brunch" at Margarida Café. There're some nice options of "brunch" with coffee, milk, bread and small portions of yogurt, granola, orange juice, cream cheese for around 15 Reais / US$4.00.

We recently had our wedding in the beautiful gardens at Pousada Enseada do Jatoba near Paraty. Margarida Café, who are located in Paraty handled the catering for our wedding and we can’t say enough about the first class job that they did. The quality of the food was excellent, the presentation was fantastic and all the staff went over and... More

Cozy and charming place, nice to go in couple or with friends, good music and nice atmosphere! I didn't ask for anything to eat in the day, just to drink! Hope can come back soon

Super restaurant in Paraty , very good value. Do try the seafood salad, the fried fish bait, the muqueca. Excellent food in nice settings, good service. A must in Paraty

The first ting you notice is the tasteful decoration, rustic yet modern, and than the smell of freshly baked bread takes over. Open from breakfast till late in the evening, this is the plave to go in Paraty's historical center.

The food was good and so was the service. It ia quite expensive and they charged a dubious tourist tax that no one else charges.

First time going for their new breakfast menu after seeing the sign and it did not disappoint. Big breakfast menu with lots of options and very enthusiastic staff. I had the breakfast 2 option and it is perfectly presented on a cute little tray. Coffee, fresh juice, a little cup of granola fruit and yogurt, cheesy bread and pancakes with... More

We went here a friday night for drinks and dessert. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and cozy. The live music was enjoyable - chill and comforting! We ate panacotta, which was REALLY good - and not expensive. Only thing you need to know is that you pay a fee for the music on your tab. It didnt really bother us,... More

We enjoyed this so much for dinner last night we've come back for breakfast today (breakfast is a new departure for them, and today is their first day). The staff couldn't be more helpful or eager to please. This morning's breakfast of scrambled eggs, fresh bread, granola with fruit and yoghurt, fresh orange juice and coffee/tea was fantastic and great... More

This cafe now has its own bakery doing amazing breakfasts every morning. They've got a lovely selection of pastries, breads, sandwiches, and cakes, and do a few breakfast menu options. The staff are very friendly, the location in a lovely colonial building in the heart of the old town is perfect, and the food wonderful.
