It is my absolute favorite steakhouse when we are in brasil. We always pass by when we have the chance. The meat is great. One of the best I ever had. And Brasil has alot of great meat places. Specially the "Oswaldo" steak with garlic on top is just great. We ate looking forward to be back.

We were recommended this place by a local and loved it! It's right by the Botanical Gardens so perfect for lunch after that. We picked the filet mignon (like everyone else) and were not disappointed. It came with all the extras - rice, beans and crisps (yes, not chips!). It was not cheap but not the most expensive we have... More

I am not going to lie, the outside makes you doubt this place but don’t be fooled by first impressions, this place has the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. It is a little difficult to find but when you do, trust me you won’t be disappointed. Picture this, a large juicy filet so tender and perfectly seasoned... More

After an afternoon at the Jardim Botanico, we had a late lunch here on the recommendation of a lady from the neighborhood we conversed with. She was right that the filet mignon is tender and delicious, in a restaurant you might walk by without noticing (except when it's busy). This is not churrasco (the endless-meat-on-a-spit) but a place you order... More

This is an excellent, reasonably priced steak house that also offers a few other dishes. It is very popular with locals and does not accept reservations. Go early, or late, or be prepared to wait. Diners order specific items from a menu, rather than just waiting for the waiter to bring around different sorts meat. Service is a little better... More

This restaurant is actually very near my home and we usually eat here a lot! The milanese filet mignon steak is my favourite and the prussian fries are to die for!!! When visiting the Botanic Garden take some time to have a meal here, you won't regret it!

Filé de Ouro is one of the most tradicional meta restaurantes is Rio. Very simple ambient, generous portions (for one, is good for two) and good prices. All of those predicates make the cue to get a table take a couple of hours during the weekends, so a good idea is that you choose a week day to visit this... More

Nice resturant close to the botanic garden. Most local guests and very popular in the weekends. This is not a romantic resturant, but for a good beef / drink it is perfect.
