My former friend Chlesea made us resevrations here and as we continued to travel, we kept meeting people that joined us for dinner lol. Anyways, we were seated in what resembled a bungalow-stlyed tree house. We literally had to climb up to actually get seated but man was it worth it. We ate dinner and drank fine wine while over... Nice enviroment and location considering a nice view which can not be seen from every sit therefore please pay attention to where you are going to choose... Starters are really good and main dishes also... ingredients are basicly from Brazil and every food is well seasoned and tasty but prices are a bit too high... Drink prices are absurd considering... Great place for a fabulous lunch with a great view. Perfect location to go after Corcovado only a few minutes away but make sure to book a table before hand especially if you go on weekends. Try the Palmito Assado (Oven cooked heart of palm) as a starter and tbe Moquequinha (Fish Stew Brazilian style) as main. Enjoy

Our second visit to this restaurant confirmed the impression formed at the first experience: that this is a place that one wishes to revisit. Once again the food and service were of high standard and pleasant. The views and general ambiance completes the picture.

This place has been recommended by a friend of us. It was in the middle of the week and i had luck to do not need reservation. I and my family had a very nice plate and France white wine. Its not cheap but worth the experience

A bit difficult to get to, but worth it. Beautiful views of the city from this multi-level restaurant in a lovely garden setting. We thought the food and drinks were both very good.

I was there twice. The food is amazingly good, it represents the real flavors of Brazil. The palmito is fresh and full of nutrients. The fish dishes are delicious. Everything on the menu has character. Great place to go to.

Go up to the Morro Santa Tereza and hidden between many plants, you will find this unique restaurant The food is mainly Brazilian, what we usually eat at home but with a sophisticated touch! The view is enough if you don't want a desert, but together its even better!

The place have different rooms in the garden with different levels. Very beautiful surrounded by a great garden. The access in not easy, please cal a Uber / taxi to go and back. You need first on arrival take a elevator to go down the restaurant. Great atmosphere, service excellent, but expensive place even without wine.

Staying in Santa Teresa

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors can now stroll through this area to view magnificent mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a former mansion turned museum which houses works by prominent Brazilian modern artists.
