OMG! I loved Rio, I loved Rio´s food, and this place is great! Their tables are mainly outside, great because it is always hit in Rio, and their waiters are all so nice, especially one that orders all the food and drinks at the counter with "extra love" - he made me laugh :) Big food portions, more than enough... This is a review of the Nossa Senhora de Copacabana location. It's a local restaurant/bar with decent food at reasonable prices. The food is typically Brazilian, the service is fast and friendly as the name indicates. For those who don't speak,Portuguese, ask for an English Menu-- they have them.

First of all for 3 Americans who did not speak very good Portuguese this was a relief from a week in Sao Paulo. This place was across from the Pao de Azucar market for groceries so after flying in from Sao Paulo we decided to try it out. The food was decent although expensive but it was in Leblon after... One of Leblon's best is the Carioca's joie de vivre! Terrible service, wost caipinha ever, incredibly expensive! Nice company, cool people! Good localization! Hope to see an improvement for the World Cup! Maybe change all waiters!!!

I went to the branch in Nossa Senhora de Copacabana. The service was very good in both occasions. The best thing we tried was definitely their bolinho de bacalhau. The picanha fatiada was dry and the farofa just average. Their escondidinho de carne seca was bellow par, though the escondidinho de camarão was a bit better. The atmosphere is quite... More

We ate at the Botequim Informal Botafogo Praia Shopping. We went there mainly because we had been told that the view was beautiful. We were not disappointed. I ordered the feijoada. It was very good and it was a very generous portion. My friends ate the picanha, a traditional dish comprised of grilled beef served with rice and farofa. Everyone... More

We have been in Botequim Informal Copacabana. The price is fair and they have many typical Brazilian food. We were very well attended and we had feijoada for two people for US $ 25.00 and it was delicious! We ate till we were full and still had a lot of leftovers.

I went there to have lunch with my husband in Botequim Informal Botafogo Praia Shopping. Bad choice, worst impossible. We were placed at a corner table because it was full. I asked the manager if he could find ur other table and he was very rude and impolite to me. We sat at the table anyway. We asked two beers... More

Typical Rio's bar and restaurant!!! Order the "mineirinho" ou "carioquinha" and you won't regret. The "chopp" is excelent, one of the bests in Rio!!!
