Touristy town but the restaurant does serve some unique dishes like pheasant and bore, but the prices don't justify it, you'll see only stuffy Brazilians there and no locals. Better to go to El Cordero or other specialty places.

We were extremely happy we found La Caceria (in the Hotel Casa da Montanha) on-line and our hotel concierge encouraged us to make a reservation. We had amazing food during the two weeks of this trip to Brazil, but this may have been the best meal we had. The restaurant is perfect for the food they serve, very masculine and... More

It's a great experience. Food is well made and service is impeccable. The decor needs an update as the "hunting" theme is a bit dated.

When you enter the room, you think you are at an english hunting lodge! The decoration and the atmosphere leads you to wonder what the food will be like, and you wont be disapointed! I had the Marcondes drake and it was excellent and you take the plate as a souvenir! For desert ask for the best apfelstrudell!

Yes, it is THE place for a fine dinning in gramado. Yes, you got to have reservations. Yes, it is somehow different, as they serve only game meat. But don't expect it to be the best game of your life. Quite expensive

We really enjoyed our dinner at La Caceria. We stayed at the hotel, so ate there our first night in. Service was excellent. I don't really like game, so I was pleasantly surprised to find several "non-game" choices as well. The wine list is nice, but pricey. All the selections that we made were very good.

Best restaurant in its category, La Caceria offers a limited but well diversified range of options from birds to larger mammals and reptiles. My prefered option here is the "Black Lake Crocodile", in its tender but remarkably crispy finish. Brazilian wine is too expensive in the menu, unless you opted for a sparkling wine (where Brazil has great products). Otherwise,... More
