You are greeted upon arrival by the staff with great enthusiasm. The service is very attentive. We sat at the sushi bar to watch the cooks in action. The owner also came and chatted with us and was very detail oriented in the staff's presentation. Overall enjoyed the omakase. In my opinion foie gras should be warmed up a bit... More

Kinoshita is an upscale sushi restaurant with very good and fresh food, good service and an ok atmosphere, but be advised: it can get expensive. Plates are small (its sushi after all!) but fish is clearly fresh, everything is really tasty and and well presented. Dinner can very well go between 90-100 USD per person (1 drink each)

Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been to. Food was excellent and the experience as well. I need to acknowledge especially the Chef Murakami as I think that his presence makes a big difference. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone... More

This is the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to. the service was excellent, the atmosphere cosy and relaxed, even for an up-scale place like this. We had the 9 course tasting menu, and each of the (small) dishes was prepared to perfection. Great ingredients, great presentation, wonderful flavours. The waiters could not present the dishes in English but... More

Have been traveling for a while:) That includes many destinations in Japan (visited twice), and, yes, Kinoshita is definitely the best japonese rest in the world. Great selection of fish, mastered by the hands of this consistent team. Dig into the wine list, great surprises from around the world to pair your food.

The food was pretty good overall and there was one or two dishes of the Omakase that I thought stood out as good, but it wasn't worthy of a Michelin Star by any stretch, and really wasn't special in any way. We went the first day they were open of the new year, which we learned meant that they didn't... More

Excellent service, excellent environment, excellent team! The price you pay worse it. The quality and freshness of the products are just unbelievable. Everything is very well presented. The Chefs and waiters are very kind and present.

We loved the omakase at Kinoshita. The dishes were very tasty, unique, and beautifully presented. The service is top-notch, everyone is warm and welcoming, including Chef Murakami who personally stopped by to make sure our meal was satisfactory and even serenaded us with a few songs, in Mandarin, no less! We thought the meal was well worth the price and... More

Was recommended to us by our concierge at Hotel Unique, not too far away. The place did not disappoint! Great food with good service (although did not speak English). I just asked the server (using sign language mainly) to bring out their top dishes off the menu one by one and we would tell him when we are done. Highly... More
