I was planning to try this restaurant during my stay in Korčula as I heard amazing reviews. The time came sooner than expected after being almost "thrown out" from opposite Konoba Mareta. It was very quiet on the upstairs terrace, the waiter was chilled out,...More

Ask for a table on the rooftop instead of inside. The view is very nice: the house where Marco Polo supposedly lived, and St. Mark's Cathedral. We started with tuna pate (complimentary) and a bottle of wine from a decent wine list. Korcula is known...More

We came here after a recommendation from the crew of our boat. We got to the restaurant quite early and were lucky enough to get a table. If you want to book, you seem to have to do it at least 2 days in advance....More

We enjoyed a great dinner, but were not impressed with our waiter Ante. His style of service seemed very impersonal and rushed. We thought the busboy was much better. The setting is lovely on the terrace, but do beware - the bell tower will ring...More

Superb restaurant with fantastic staff and excellent food. Prices are realistic and not hyped up for tourists. If you visit the island I would truly recommend you eat there

Visited with our family, staff took orders quickly to accomodate the children first. The priority here is certainly the food, you may not get the full chatty friendly service we became accustomed to on the island, their service is more prompt and precise. The food...More

Enjoyed an amazing meal here. The Marco Polo risotto was outstanding, cozy ambiance, great Grk vino, and nice service. One of the best meals I had in Croatia.

This family run restaurant is a Dalmatian delight. Great home style Damation food, cooked with a minimum of fuss but with great ingredients and what seems to be a whole lotta love. We enjoy sitting near the kitchen and watching chef Jele and the grill...More

Description
Welcome to the family tavern, which in 1974 founded our grandpa Cvijo. The dishes you will taste are prepared with lot of love, effort and experience. Our chef asks for your patience while you wait for your meal as it is prepared with fresh Korčula ingredients and is cooked on the authentic barbecue. The first section of our restaurant is the central part of the tavern with kitchen with six tables from 1974. In the second section there are two large tables suitable for 14 guests each, and they are placed in the beautiful setting of an old shipbuilding workshop. The tools used in this workshop can still be seen today on the taverns inner walls. The third section is the terrace which was refurbished and opened for the public in 2007, with fantastic view at the oldest church in Korčula St.Peters and St. Marks cathedral or Mark Polos birth house. A unique location for a unique gastronomy experience from 1974!
