Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a really cute spot in Trogir. We stumbled upon it as we wandered the narrow streets. We sat outside and really enjoyed the setting. The greek salad (and the feta in particular) was excellent.

This is a great restaurant if you are allergic to gluten. Every dish can be served glutenfree. Even the lasagna. The service is a bit slow, ordered bred but did not get it until the main course after asking for it a second time. Got...Mojito and grappa on the house.More

Well we made a Reservation over here and went there 30 mimutes earlier which wasn t a problem. First on a table where 2 of us had to sit on a couch against a stone wall. Other table not possible. Bruschetta salmon and bruschetta tomata...anchovies great. But bit expensive for 3 pieces. Than because waitress thought people next to us were too loud, we could move to other table. Only 6 minutes, than it started to rain heavily. So we could move inside. Personnel did their very best. We saw our food standing in kitchen. But all personnel was ofcourse very busy moving guests , pillows etc inside because of rain. After 15 minutes they brought our food. Cold pasta , cold fries, cold burgers. We ve put fries from burgers into the bowl with the extra fries and gave those back. 1 Burger was boring and missed all extras like caramelized onions… The pasta went back to kitchen too. Last dish was luckily a salad. We received only a bowl with the portions for the 2 burgers back. But fries were more mc donald s style and very salted. Salad not very spectacular.More

So we have been walking for a while around Trogir Town centre and it was time for some food but we need a place that is at least a bit veggie friendly (surprisingly not so easy in some places). So we settled for this restaurant...eventually. The serving lady was super nice and she recommended some pleasant wine and my risotto had really nice flavour. However I need to admit that beetroot salad was a little nit underwhelming and consisted literary of some sliced beetroot. Good job there was also some soup otherwise someone would be hungry. But pleasant night overallMore

Has a fair selection of vegan foods, but the menu could be clearer. I tried their lasagne, it tasted good and it was a satiating portion. Has a terrace by the port with a great view.

recommended by our hotel as a place they frequent, which was a good enough endorsement for us. A few outdoor tables; we opted to be indoors as it was cold and turned rainy. Right in the middle of Trogir; i mean...what isn't? Trogir is small...(and delightful). The young gal waiting on us kinda didn't get it; i asked about a local Rose wine and she said they were out of it. No problem; I ordered something else. Ten minutes later the apparent owner came out and i saw her pouring a Rose for someone else and when I asked, it was the one I asked for initially. FYI. Anyway, we got pasta dishes and salads and found the food to be very solid and enjoyable. Mid range prices. Would recommend it.More

Testy food, excellent service. We loved the location. Prices were definitely ok. Waiter gave us blankets. Wish they had heating lamps.

Friendly service and great food. We ate here on our first evening in Trogir: we sat in the restaurant not by the waterside. We had friendly welcoming service and our meals were excellent. I’d recommend the freshly cooked Shrimp risotto.

We'd seen this restaurant in passing and thought we'd give it a go. We sat at a table just outside the restaurant watching the world go by. Greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Drinks were served and a short time later our food arrived....(Chicken breast stuffed with cheese and Dalmatian Ham with polenta and a home made tomato sauce) The food was no more than OK, it could have been warmer and more than three small cubes of polenta. We had finished our meal and had waited for quite a while to be asked if we required anything else. We declined and moved onto have drinks elsewhere. Overall, although it wasn't bad I know there are better restaurants to choose from.More

Quick service, kind staff, and the food was great. The lady invited us in as we looked at the menu, but she was even a bit aggressive, unlike many places in the area. Plus, it was like 30% cheaper than on the channel side 100m...away. Would recommend!More

Trogir has a lot restaurants, but this is one of our favorites. If you are looking to taste the Dalmatia, this is definitely a place to visit. A lot of options for amazingly tasteful seafood and vine. I highly recommend a visit. The staff is...also very friendly and warm, they appreciate every single customer. You will have a great experience at Vrata o’ grada!More

This restaurant has wonderful staff - attentive, friendly and solved a slight problem with great ease. Excellent seating on the promenade with gluten free food options galore! Make sure you specifically ask and they will ensure it is GF. Food was well presented and reasonably...priced. It was a delight as a coeliac (GF) to be able to dine with such ease alongside thr rest of my family and not feel like the odd one out with very few or only one GF option on the menu.More
