Everything was delicious. The avocado soup was a real treat as were the frittata and vegetables. Excellent service in a lovely surrounding.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff but no English spoken. We had our driver translate. If you like fish try the Grilled trout. Everyone enjoyed their food. Ate there twice.

This is a very good restaurant for the lunch time. The food is not expensive, dishes are good in flavor and size, and the service is very kind. This place is located near Plaza de Ponchos and doesn't have parking, and is not pet friendly.

We ate here twice and would go back again. The trout is excellent, as are the soups, such as the Locro de Papas (potato/cheese/avocado soup). Service is friendly.

They offer typical plates and fresh juices. Look for the baked big at the entrance that let's you know they are open.

Regular locals and tourists show this as good place to eat. We ate there many times and we're consistently pleased with service and food. Good menu of the day traditional food and visitor food off the menu. (I.e. Chateaubriand)

Mi Otavalito is a well known full service restaurant offering local cuisine and local entertainment. The menu of the day is always a great choice, although the a l'carte menu may entice you to order their local specialties. Prices are reasonable. We had a great time in a fun lively ambiance with delicious like homemade food and live music.

Read the Trip Advisor review and headed to this restaurant post haste. Impeccable service, lovely Ecuadorian dishes. The Andean music added so much to the ambiance. Yes, there was a pan flute involved, plus several guitars. Try the avocado con camarones and ANY sopa. The Ecuadorian soups are amazing and very filling.

In search of a good place to eat on a Sunday evening in Otavalo (an overpriced tourist town in northern Ecuador) you'll find mi Otavalito. Maybe this was a great place 10 years ago but now it's an average of $10/plate of hard and chewy beef or over cooked shrimp. The only server available was totally distracted by the telenovela...
