We waited and waited, finally someone came and took our order but when the food arrived it was not what we ordered. The server acted like we were putting us out . It was cold and not very good. Expensive! We held the meat on one plate and asked for onions but were charged for the onions. The waiter was... More

This hotel-mansion is located near the main street and the train station. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is pretty decent. Our room was called "Menta" its a double room, queen sized bed and full bathroom. The shower is excellent, it has 100% natural products made in the ecuadorian amazon. The only negative thing was the noise, you... More

We had the pleasure of visiting Riobamba and we stayed at the Mansion Santa Isabella. It's beautifully decorated. The staff is extremely helpful. The rooms are magnificent to say the least, and the cuisine is delightful. The owners are very welcoming. If you have an opportunity to book a room here then I highly recommend doing so.

Lovely, just really lovely spot! So nicely decorated, so comfortable... Try the Quinoa soup, for example, but really any of the dishes are highly recommended! Ben the (English) owner is AWESOME! You will be happy...

We visited this place thanks to a friend staying in the hotel...and I am so thankful! The interior is so beautiful and peaceful and an amazing cavern bar. A fresh appetizer is served with nachos and guacamole. We ordered different simple dishes: salad, empanadas and soup. All simply amazing! My favorite was the coconut mill quinoa soup! Loved it!

The restaurant is good quality, with nice service, and not quite as expensive as the swanky hotel would suggest. The food is mainly Ecuadorian, and desserts are not too good, as often in Ecuador.

Unable to cater to 3 tables, 14 guests. Had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our drinks. After 2 hours some of the lukewarm orders arrived. When those were finished the rest arrived, unfortunately not what we ordered.... Staff and management not responsive.

We had an excellent experience during our short stay at the Mansión. Ben was very accommodating and the rooms were well maintained and cleaned. The breakfast was nice: my only complaint was that after being starved of good coffee I was a bit disappointed that the breakfast guy didn't know how to use their espresso machine. All in all, well... More

A native New Yorker, I came down to work in a small town near Riobamba this June and felt like a fish out of water. I tried all the restaurants listed in the popular guide books, much to my disappointment, and often times ending in an upset stomach. After mornings spent wandering the streets for a decent cup of coffee... More

I'm not sure where the other reviewers for this place ate, because it's unrecognisable from what I experienced! It's a little suspicious that they've each only done one review... We were staying in the hotel (which we liked very much), as a family of four, and ate there as well after seeing how highly rated it was. First off, we... More
