Been here 4 times off cruise ships. This will be the last. When we got ready to go the owners son told us they had neglected to add the $18 ceviche to our ticket on our credit card. We could just pay that portion in cash to him and leave the $218 balance on our credit card. We smelled more... More

Everything was "ho hum" from the food, to the staff, to the prices. Maybe the slow season meant no effort. Nothing was wrong, just nothing that mad it stand apart. Could be a rocking place in the summer, but was just average when we went. We ate. That is all.

West end and West Bay should definitely be on your list when you visit Roatan. Fosters hss grwat food and service, a little pricuer vs local dpots but a great experience.

Foster's had the best Lobster Dinner on the beach. $18 for three lobster tails. The food was fresh and the service was perfect.

We received a flyer about the daily specials and decided to try out Wed. which was parrilladas for 2. It was a ton of food, and it was very good! It was probably the most economical meal we've had on Roatan. There was a ton of chicken, beef and sausage, pico de gallo, a bowl of refried beans and fried... More

Actually there is one decent idea here, on sunday they bbq chicken legs and serve them with beans and potato salad. As long as you don't need anything to drink, this was tasty and only cost 6 bucks. It is virtually impossible to get a second drink. We went back the next day for lunch and while we were waiting... More

We were on an island excursion from our cruise ship and had read previous reviews saying the coconut shrimp dinner at Foster's was wonderful and it was. We had no complaints. The service was a little slow but we were enjoying the view so did not care. The shrimp were quite large and nicely done. The only negative was, I... More

Great location and views and 5/6 meals were good. The wait staff are poorly trained, did not know the specials or what type of wine they served just Red (Merlot) and the white was unknown. They had to bring the bottle to the table so we could identify it. The women's washroom was disgusting and had not been cleaned from... More

My wife and I tried The Barking Monkey at Foster's West End last week while on vacation in Roatan and loved it! We sat in the corner table on the top level and experienced one of the most amazing sunsets we have ever seen. The beer was ice cold, the service was friendly, and the fried seafood platter was cooked... More

we chose to eat here because of the location and view. You can jump into the water from the 2nd floor. The owner is from Texas so we assumed the food quality should be good. We assumed wrong. Nachos were made with processed pre-flavoured plasticy cheese product (like what you'd get at a 7-11). Owner claimed everything was made from... More
