4 of us came here for lunch last Monday, good start because the starters were not bad, but nothing to write home about. For the main courses it was a different story, 3 of us had pork dishes, and one had a bright green chicken dish, chicken Cafreal, which had a strange taste. All of the pork dishes were very... More

This quaint restaurant is located in one of the bylanes in Panjim and is actually the residence of the owner converted to a restaurant. Though there is ample seating it feels slightly claustrophobic particularly the AC section and the makeshift upper seating. Prior booking is strictly advised as this place is frequented and almost taken over by foreigners most of... More

I have no words for the food we had. A total cost worth restaurant. You can taste the authenticity of the goan cusine here. The food delivery is quick. The ambience of the restaurant is as goan as possible. It is a must visit place if you are around panjim.

We ate on the street just outside this small family restaurant. We especially liked the chicken livers, but also enjoyed the dal, curry and soup. Highly recommended.

Went back a second time because we enjoyed the first night so much and it was convenient to Panjim Inn. Different miserable waiter, unhelpful and surly meant our experience was entirely different. Nice food however.

This restaurant is worth looking for. Has a good range of food including traditional Goan meals. If you feel adventurous try the balcheow! When you leave turn left to see some restored homes in the Portuguese style,

I'm a vegetarian and have had some goan food in the past. This place unlocked a new variety of tastes which I'd never experienced before. The vindaloo was bold and the cauliflower dish (can't quite recall the name) was absolutely sublime.

I had dinner at Viva Panjim with a group of friends who are regular customers and knew just what to order.Though there were many options, the fish and prawn curry and rice was truly delicious. We had several other tasty preparations of grilled prawns and fried fish, but being a true Goenkar( read local) I got my endorphin fix from the fish caldinho...
