This is a large open air restaurant I think part of a small local chain ( of at least 2 places) where they all wear the corporate T shirt etc. However the food was adequately cooked and the service good which made for an enjoyable evening. Worth a visit but the food is unlikely to make a lasting impression

We really liked the open air setting of the restaurant, very casual, fun and friendly service. We were a group of 12 and they managed to get all but one of our main courses out to the table together. The massaman curry, pad thai, tom yum goong and in particular the seafood dishes we ordered were delicious, with a tendency... More

Great food ruined by the poor service, wait too long for a menu/the bill/plates to be cleared, even after asking.. shame

Well thanks to the awful weather, we chose to eat at the relatively new Cook Kai as it is directly opposite our hotel (the Twin Lotus). We've been in Thailand for 2 weeks now, this was without a doubt the best food we've eaten. We had chicken satay to start, a pad Thai, and the highlight the red curry soup... More

Well-seasoned, well presented, courteous personnel, cozy surroundings. We had the massaman curry and penang curry, and the som tam (papaya salad), all delicious. Saw some reviews complaining about bad pizza's (???). When in Rome, eat like the Romans.

We visited for an evening meal whilst in Ko Lanta. We were a little concerned on arrival that it was really quiet (never the best for a restaurant) but we quickly forgot that! The food was excellent (barracuda penang especially nice!) and the service fantastic. Really nice setting and would recommend if you're in Ko Lanta, it was one of... More

Order anything and you won't be disappointed. Loved the Tom yum shrimp soup. Sticky rice with mango and coconut cream is a must!

Having been in Thailand for a week we both agreed this was the best Thai food we've had so far. Portions are plentiful and food is very fresh. I had the Tom Yum soup to start which had about 10 big prawns in, delicious spicy broth and lots of vegetables. This would easily be a meal in itself but being... More
