Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The restaurant is off the beaten path, at Yao beach, far away from the more tourist friendly Pak Meng Beach. The patrons are mostly local so the food caters more to the locals taste. The food was a bit spicy but then I like my...food to be spicy. We ordered tom yam and steamed fish in lemon dauce which was excellent. Will definitely recommend this place.More

Hat Yao is a tiny little village but it is where the Long Tailed Boats go to the various Islands... Koh Libong, Koh Mook etc. This restaurant is perched on stilts by the ferry jetty and serves absolutely delicious and totally Thai Seafood. We have...eaten there about five times as we stay in the small hotel, Baan Chao Mai Beach House, which is nearby. My partner is Thai so she ordered various Thai dishes and I enjoyed them all... some superb crabs,(see photo), which were very large by Thai normal standards and perfect. The prawn dishes are also excellent and we highly recommend this restaurant and in fact it is so good that you should delay your departure, or pause after your arrival, and have a meal here.... you will not regret it!!More

Fantastic Thai seafood with Flavours not muted for foreigners! Must try! Their fish and bamboo shoot in spicy and sour soup is so heavenly, the fish fresh and flaky and the soup is made for tongues that can take fire! Deep fried soft shell crabs...are cooked very well, light and crispy on the outside, juicy and sweet on the inside. Tom yam soup here has a 'no holds barred' treatment when it comes to sour and spicy! Not for the faint hearted! The view is great where you can watch idyllic boats coming in and out of the pier. Lovely waters, mostly calm. Service is attentive and food was served efficiently. Must visit when coming to Trang!More
