You may need help finding this wonderful restaurant but it is worth seeking out. Located in a beautiful, traditional house, there are many little dining rooms around the courtyard. Every room is beautiful. Be sure to explore the whole place while you are there. The food and the service were terrific.

I loved the ambient in old medina and an old house with lot of smaller rooms, nice patio, decorated with ethnographic items, and even with kind of beds near some tables, which looked like beeing in a harem.... The food and service were good, efficient and tasty.

Food is actually amazingly good. I am Tunisian and I loved what they cooked. Unfortunately service was very bad. We went for a Ramadan dinner. We got our soup served 10 mns after sunset. It was burning hot. There was baked lamb on the menu. My meat portion was mainly bones. I was very disappointed. It's sad how you can... More

Food was great, service was perfect and the architecture and atmosphere are just magic. Go there once you are had too much sun and you walked enough to get lost in the medina. This place will refresh you. They are delighted to have some tourists visiting and will welcome you with some yummy starters. I strongly recommend!

We went to this restaurant after visiting the medina of Kairouan. We called them beforehand to ask if we could come before opening as it was very hot outside and we wanted to rest. They welcomed us with fresh strawberry juices. Very nice of them. Then while they were preparing our table we could choose what we wanted to eat....... More

we found refuge in this charming restaurant in a fully renovated historical palace after a day of wondering in rain and mud. The food was traditional and one of the best we ate in Tunisia, but even better were the explanations by the charming owners. We are looking forward to the opening of their new hotel: at last a good... More

The only place who was not disgusting, this high end (for tunisian standards) restaurant is a gem. It has the usual suspects only better done and in a wonderful setting. We ate very well.

The Medina of Kairouan is bustling with life, people are friendly and ready to help you if you get lost. Many good details for your pictures, if you like to buy handmade textiles; copper objects yo! are in good place. Regretfully someof th strrets and buildings are in disrepair, Unesco should do some more efforts here . If you like... More

We ate in this lovely converted house in old Kairouan in July 2014. The family dined at a table across the courtyard and were so friendly, giving us a tour of the house and telling us about the history. The meal was great and a nice change from typical Tunisian meals. Updated classics, done very well. The service was very... More
