My friend and I went out for dinner here on the 19th of february, a sunday. At first we liked it, staff looked friendly and even though the restaurant is huge it is devided in different parts so it doesn't feel so big. The menu is varied and we both found something we liked so the menu is fine. My... More

Good seafood with nice view to the sea. Quite clean and quick service. This restaurant absolutely is our favorite seafood restaurant in Vungtau. Recommended.

This was the first restaurant we visited in Vung Tau and it is difficult to imagine better or fresher seafood. The restaurants keeps the menu items alive in small ponds and cooling areas--snails, fish, crabs, etc. Quite amazing and an attraction for children. We had a table by the sea and watched a beautiful sunset as we sipped wine and... More

There are two Ganh Hao in Vung Tau so just to confirm, we visited Ganh Hao 1. We were attended to promptly and the guards helped my grandma off the taxi as she has weak knees (automatic points in my books). We got to choose our table as they werent too lucky at that time! But I've been advised you... More

Very reasonable seafood restaurant by the sea. Although the restaurant is huge with over hundreds sitting. It is always full by 8.00 at night especially during weekends and holidays. Most costumers are Vietnamese. Lots of fresh and live seafood choose from. Local (Vietnamese)way of cooking is best way to order, as all the chef are local.

We were recommended this place from our hotel managers, which was across the street from the restaurant, we enjoyed it the first night we went back the next evening again, great service, great seafood, and of course a great view of the bay

More expensive than others but nice view and very freah seafood. Services were okay but too crowded because of lunar new year. We would go further to Ben Da areas for cheaper prices

We were a group of 4 and were told Ganh Hao was popular with the local population. I decided to go early in the day to make a reservation, as it was the height of the Tet holiday. The maitre d' was quite helpful and I was able to secure a table. When we arrived later in the day, there... More

Food was edible - but on the oily side. Was actually in the mood for prawns or calamari/squid but could not find these on the menu - resorted to satay pork. Our waiter was entertaining. Not quite sure why this is the No1 restaurant in Vung Tau. Don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

Thank Kevin T
