This is one of few places in Mysore that offers north indian food close to that of homemade food. It is popular among youngsters and those who want to spend some time there chatting or playing. Just as a place to eat, it is not great.

Far from homecooked meals. It made me forget what good food is. The fresh lime juice is good. Place is set up nicely but food needs to improve just like the owner lady s attitude.

I liked the food there but a lot of the yogis say its been made at home and microwaved everytime you order, and that they keep costs low because they buy surplus stock from the IT companies nearby. Nonetheless I really love their atmosphere and energy and the owners are delightful. Worth a try and we all lived to tell... More

By the first looks, one cannot believe this cafe is in India. It was a pleasant surprise to find such an elegant yet simple place to eat at. The decor, atmosphere, little things like book shelf and chess set, courtesy of owners... all these things together contribute to make this a relaxed and welcome place. To talk about food, they... This was our haven for the first week of a long stay in Mysore whilst we found our feet, that said we still go back - just not every day! Great North Indian food. The dishes are displayed in tiny bowls on the counter as well as written on a board to save confusion, so you can just point out... More

It's actually not a cafe but kind of a eatery (not fine dining) serving home cooked food. The food is very nice & is not spicy at all. It's very similar to your regular home cooked food (less oil & less spices). Though they have limited options, they have a different menu everyday so that you don't get bored if... More

Wow- Tina and Sanjeev have that very special something that turns this cafe into somewhere worth diverting to. They are honest warm people and thief fresh home cooked food is outstanding. The best aloo roti and biryani I've tasted in India. And don't miss the chocolate brownies! I'm already planning to come again! The warmest of welcomes...

This is a very simple place serving food which is not greasy or spicy. You go to the counter and order and seat yourself around simple tables. Once food is ready, the person at the counter will shout your order out. Go get it. For people who are used to being served hot and spicy food at their tables, this... More

Tina's cafe strikes one 's eye because of the location and large open space. As the sign board suggests authentic Punjabi home-made food is served. In fact some of the dishes are cooked at home and brought to the cafe!! the menu changes every day to accomodate what's available in the vegetable mandi .No 'maida' is used to make the 'Rotis'/'Parathas'.If you don't mind, chatty owners who may make honest suggestions about the order you place, rope you in for a games of chess,Tina's Cafe is the perfect place to hang out. The ambience is very warm, the prayer flags, cushions, big urns. The art on the walls has been done by the owners and a lot of willing customers while they waited for their food.
