Food is tasty as expected in Irani cafes. Neat and clean. Location is ofcourse nice. Small in size but gives classic experience. Quantity of all foodstuff is very less for the cost they charge which is easily available in good at various locations in South Mumbai.

A walk in the rain brought us to Cafe Excelsior opposite New Excelsior movie theatre in a leafy borough not very far from the mad bustle of CST. Irani cafes are quintesentially Mumbai, and Cafe Excelsior completes a century in 3 years. This is one of those places that have withstood the test of time. Replete with old world charm,... More

I went there on a lazy Sunday afternoon and the place was antique and beautiful. Almost always gives me the old bombay feel. Quick and courteous staff, rustic decor which they purposefully havnt changed since a long long time. Ordered the traditional bun maska chai..and it never dissapoints. Love this place, every time I go to south bombay I make... More

After long I visited the place and the same old days came back to mind. It has less dishes in vegetarian but other all menu is still set at best. Fastest service. Nearby to CST station.

I've been frequenting this place for ages. The place serves great Parsi, Chinese and Lebanese food, apart from the usual Mumbai food throughout the day. Its a small place yet I've never seen it noisy or crowded. Maybe its because the patrons who frequent here are usually the office goers in the daytime, New Excelsior crowd having a quick bite... This is an old Irani joint in the heart of Fort, Mumbai. Very courteous and helpful staff. Food is priced reasonably and they have a wide range of offerings for breakfast as well. The Salli boti was excellent. The Kheema pav was mildly spicy. We had the traditional raspberry drink. All in all a truly value for money place!

One of the old buildings with very calm atmosphere. We ordered biryanis and some kokum sherbats. Biryani was good (not the usual spicy ones).
