We had heard about this place through some friends of ours who suggested we try it out. Went there for lunch and overall it was an OK experience. It's a small place and seating is at a premium. Food was OK but nothing to rave about. Quantities were also OK. It was nice for a change but I would not... More

This is the best in Mumbai for authentic goan food. They provide decent arrangements for stay. A place strictly for seafood lovers (although they do have chicken thali on their menu) There is no air conditioning and the setting is very basic with the unique smell of seafood in the air. The kitchen too isn't very big and fancy but... More

If you are on the lookout for authentic goan seafood, this is the place to go. The FOOD - The Fish thali with fried prawns or fried bombil on the side is highly recommended. Fish thali includes two vegetables, 1 mandeli fish curry, a couple of fried pieces of mandeli, kokum kadi, cucumber/tomato salad, achaar, salt, chapati/ rice. Beverages -... More

If anyone wants to enjoy simple Goanese food at the heart of Mumbai, Goa Bhavan is the place. Its a very small place, so please don't expect any kind of glitz and glamor and the whole environment is very homely. The service is quick & it's a fish lovers heaven.

This is a little canteen-style place serving delicious sea food. The bombil fry is definitely a good choice. The service is quick and the Konkan-style food tastes like home-food, not too greasy and very tasty.

Eat here if you are in a mood for cheap but delicious home cooked goan food, try their thali's and add fried prawns and surmai fish. It's a quick eat place, and pretty modestly done in the form of a canteen, but the food is yummy and service fast. Pocket friendly place.

Tucked away in a corner of JVPD, I hope this place remains undiscovered forever. When I dont feel like cooking at home but crave to eat some home-cooked food, this is my go-to place! No fancy frills, no menu card, no cutlery, no uniformed stewards, no dessert. One does not need any of that when one gets just simple and... More
