To start with as soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a queer smell in the air which was not at all appealing. The menu card was given to us by the waiter was falling to pieces ...shows that the restaurant does not care about aesthetics. For starters we ordered crispy chilli potato and two soups. Food... We visited this place on a weekday and it wasn't much occupied. The place was all for ourselves. The ambience is very dim and the music played is way too old. Though not annoying its good. Few songs made me really feel old ;) The management needs to improve on their communication as we had to explain a lot about... More

Not brightly lit, which soothes the ambience. Service slow but food quality is good. Quite a lot of variety in vegetarian food. Coriander lemon soup is a must!

The restaurant is located opposite to Jal Vayu Vihar in Powai. You can be rest assured you will get a parking. If you don't you have a valet. The place is normally crowded and thus it's advisable to have a reservation. They specialises in Oriental cuisine I quite like the seating arrangement which is optimum and you don't feel like... This restaurant seems as if it hasn't been attended to in years. The decor is uninviting and the service is quiet poor. The food is on the more deplorable and deserves criticism. The servers don't seem to engage the guests unless there is a pressing need. The food is soaked in soy sauce, the appetizers are bland and seems it... More

China Valley at Powai is a sister concern of the original one at Prabhadevi. However, the food taste is no where close to the one at Prabhadevi. Ambience is decent and service is also alright. Place is not too big, but is just fine. There are many better places in Powai to have Chinese meals !!!

If you are a fan of Mumbai Chinese food (mind you, it is very different from Calcutta Chinese), then Gypsy Chinese at Dadar and China Valley at Powai are 2 places you must go to. I have no doubt that every dish tastes different from the other, brimming with mighty flavours and awakening your senses! The steamed fish is expensive,... More

If you like Indian chinese and want it at mid-range prices for day-to-day dining then this is a good place to order from or go to. The place has a feel similar to chinese food joints/restaurant in Kolkata
