With the overabundance of street chaat in Bandra, I always wondered at the loyalty of shoppers who visiting the variety of fabrics & readywear at Elco, ended the shopping spree at the chaat house. Today after some decades of wondering I checked it out... My...More

This isn't the normal type of restaurants. Its pretty expensive one. It is one of the popular hangout places in the area. Though no doubt the food they offer is good in taste but be ready to face a lot of crowds here.

The best dosa we have had in 3 months in India but also the most expensive. The staff were kind enough to order us a chai from outside to drink with it.

Their Pani puris are absolutely amazing. My husband and I ordered a basket and not managed to finish them all but also ordered more. All other chaat dishes we had were mouth watering too.

Was recommended by countless people to visit here, so I made it our first meal in Mumbai - and it didn’t disappoint. My group only spoke English so some of the menu items were lost in translation, but I think we ordered a good mix...More

If you went Mumbai and did not eat at Elcos you were not in Mumbai. Fast, nice and great taste, The best Pani puri in the world, no doubt.

The panipuri here is still really good but the prices have got really expensive— the high prices don’t make sense given the horribly crowded n smelly dusty surroundings+zero ambience. I guess folks eating here don’t care about the high prices and crappy surroundings.

It's no longer the real thing. They have ordinary people making the Chaat at different counters and the original owner touch is missing. Also expanded into things other than Chaat. Not worth going all the way to eat

Bandra West
Known as the Queen of Suburbs, Bandra is Mumbai’s
favourite neighbourhood Buzzing with hip and artsy
events, watering holes in every nook and corner,
quaint cafes for every mood of the day, graffitied
streets of tiny Catholic villages, stunning views of
the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and Worli’s skyline from the
historic Bandra Fort, are just some of the reasons
that makes Bandra a reigning cultural hotspot. All
