It looks and sounds kitsch but the food is an interestingly blend of Indian and Western. A pizza on what is surprisingly close to a naan base with tandoori chicken is but one example.

Very neatly organised Train bogy dinning arrangement for different experience one can have here. They also have dinning arrangement out side bogy to feel dinner on PLATFORM as well as closed AC rooms.

Is worth stopping in for a drink but all the restaurants in the Rombaugh are only slightly more expensive with much better ambiance, service, view etc

Classic place to sit and enjoy drinks. Symbolic of the regalia of the Rajasthan state and it's hospitality/ architecture. Decent drinks menu and good ambiance. Will visit again.

The setting and ambiance on the old steam train is hard to beat but that is where the positives end. This was the most expensive restaurant we ate in during our week in Jaipur. The food was ok but the service was appalling. The waiter poured a beer, spilled it on the floor and sloshed it on the table. He... More

We went with kids for a birthday celebration dinner. The place is excellent - both in ambience and for the food. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I would like to thank our server, Pankaj. He was helpful and smiling throughout.

Steam is one of the restaurant's on the grounds of the Rambagh Palace Hotel. Much of the seating is in old railroad cars (excessively air conditioned on the night of our visit) but additional, more conventional outdoor seating is available on the patio outside. The menu includes a number of starters (kabobs, empanadillas, etc), pastas, and 8-10 thin crust pizzas.... More

Most amazing pizzas in town....a train has been converted into a restaurant and the station waiting area has been extended to accommodate more people - drinks menu is interesting and the set up is what makes this place special...
