We were told the salad bar was "awesome" at Wolf Bay Lodge. It was not even as good as that at Shoney's. The staff is folksy and nice. You can tell many have been working there for years. Great place, lots of character . Of course I spent most time and money at gift shop. The blonde lady was so sweet and helpful, she seemed like a good friend. I highly recommend this gift shop, my favorite in all the area.

I decided to try the fried chicken and was very disappointed. The meat was dry and tough. The coating was not very tasty.

We found the place on VRBO. We were going to a soccer tournament at the nearby soccer fields. Excellent place. Large 2bd/2ba. $85 per night. $90cleaning fee.

Three of us ate there Sunday evening at 7:15 and it was not busy at all. It is a large restaurant with a large bar and really nice inside. The waitress was very good and the drinks were quick, no coke, only pepsi. I ordered the whole flounder fried with sauteed veggies, my wife got grilled snapper with sweet potato,... More

My husband and I winter in Alabama and always visit Wolf Bay Lodge for the wonderful sea food. Service is always good and the food great! We had the special for dinner - red snapper and grouper combo. It was prepared just right and the price was reasonable. We will be back again soon.

Was disappointed that we didn't get to eat here as I have been told to go several times. Walked in and we were advised that it would be 10-15 for a table which was no problem despite there being several vacant tables and several that needed cleared. We decided to go to the bar after having looked at all the... More
