Have been here many times and absolutely love the food, and the ambiance. Has a combined sports and Mardi Gras environment. A must-see in Huntsville.

Get the Scruffy Special. Owners are authentic Louisiana bred, and almost always on site and attentive to customers. Staff have been there for years. Gets crowded at lunch time, but service is fast. Don't come for lunch with a big group, come with 2 or 3 friends. No wait for dinner.

We visited after reading TA ratings. We were not disappointed. I had the seafood platter and my wife had the crab cakes. We were impressed with both.

I ate here twice while on a business trip. The first time was because a local freind recommend it, the second because I couldn't leave town without eating there again! The bread they use to make the po boys is amazing. And you definitely have to get the gumbo.

It's rather small, and the atmosphere is sort of "shabby" but I guess that could be on purpose, looking for an authentic feel. I wasn't impressed with the size of the portions for the price, but it was good.

I thought the place was dirty and the service was a little slow. The quality and quantity of the food (was not in proportion to the cost. I did not actually get a po' boy and I heard they were actually better than the fish I ordered.

Fried pickles, fried green beans, fried potatoes, Chicken tenders and fries. All were great but think I had my weekly allotment of fried food in one night. Friendly service and even got a soda refill to go without even being asked. Next time I will try grilled chicken with my fried pickles😊

Dined recently with my wife. Service was great. Food is excellent. Little bit of a wait on Weekends but worth it.

There is basically no parking. This seems to be an old house, as it is strangely laid out. Tables are cramped close together. They can't handle parties more than 9 people. It looks neat on the outside, but the inside is a bit of a mess. There are cleaning products stored everywhere, Windex next to the Mountain Dew of the... More
