Read the reviews and tot we give it a try. Food came out quickly considering that the place wasnquite full. Started with deep fried pork chop which was pretty tasty. Then we told the person who took our order that we wanted steam fish. She recommended mullet.the fish was not fresh and seem to be frozen for some time. The... More

The noodles, tofu & vegetable dishes we ordered were fine & reasonably priced. However we ordered black pepper crab (price based on weight) Looked like was only 2 medium sized crabs bill was 114RM. We felt this was a bit steep based on the size of the crabs. I think the owner may have been havin a laugh!

Before embarking on our annual church camp to Melaka (aka Malacca), did extensive research on the Bunga Raya area because we are staying at the spanking new Swiss Garden Melaka Residences & Hotel (more in another write up). Discovered a few low key mention about Lu Yeh Yen online which means virgin territory to "famous" regional food bloggers = the... More

Attend a wedding dinner here. The waitress is terrible. During setting up the table, she throws spoon and plate on table. Serving with very bad manner. Always show her angry face to customers. The worst restaurant I ever meet.

This restaurant is very close to Mimosa Hotel and Madam Kings Emporium. Many local family go there for their dinner (birthday or family gathering). The prices are quite reasonable. Average price is about 6-8RM for small size dish (good for 2-4 persons). However fish, prawns and crabs are based on the market price. Best is to ask for the price... More

Was in town to celebrate relative's 87th birthday. Excellent suckling pig, Chilli Crabs, black chicken herbal soup, Mee Sua, Lotus buns. Definitely deserves a return visit.

We have dined at this restaurant 3 times during our 4 night stay in Malacca because we don't believe that we could find a better food at such a great price (we tried one further up the Trip Advisor ratings and were disappointed, so we returned to our old favourite). The locals flock here for the crabs and fish which... More

Popped into the restaurant 2 days in a row and ordered their specialty like "ma po beancurd","kong pao frog legs" garlic barramundi etc and found the food to be tasty.Located just around the corner of Ramada Plaza Hotel, this restaurant packs in crowd usually at 7.30pm onwards. Prices are reasonable as shown on my picture. If you want a cooler seating... More

My partner and I went to Lu Yeh Yen for late night supper on 8 Dec 2014. I had originally Intended to order a large salt baked crab but was told by the waitress they only had "average-sized" crabs (500 grams each) available. I thought of ordering two of those but was advised by my partner to try out one... More
