I have tried Ippudo everywhere I have travelled... and when your away from home, a hot bowl of noodle is a must, always check for Ippudo! And the 2x Spicy Ippudo Karaka, and a side kick of Squid Tentacles, perfection. Its in the IFC building so, so much to explore around the mall and area... the wait can be annoying,... More

I came here for the ramen, hoping that it would taste good as Ippudo is from Japan. Turned out the ramen tasted like 3-min instant noodles you can get from the supermarket.

If you are craving for good quality and inexpensive Ramen in a restaurant while in Shanghai, this franchise is the place to be. Its a simple restaurant specializing mainly Ramen and the thick pork stock makes it very flavorful. We tried the salmon sushi starter which was good and also the green tea ice-cream at the end was a great... More

Ippudo I know from Japan and despite the Chinese leg of the business is not matching the quality or menu of it's parent business I very much enjoy eating there. It's among the very best Japanese ramen in China and I highly recommend it t anybody hungry fr good ramen.

I couldn't wait for the lines in New York so I had the opportunity to have it here. I was able to come during an off hour so I didn't have to wait for a table and it was made relatively quickly. I enjoyed the miso and garlic oil from the tonkatsu broth along with the classic noodles. It was... More

I have been to many Ippudo outlets in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore so I know what I'm comparing and talking about.a good ramen comes from a good soup base and for this case it's pork bone tonkatsu soup.this outlet in jing an Kerry Mall was close to disgusting and the broth was so diluted.

Ramen is simply a must. Excellent meat and soup. Other dishes are also fine but nothing comparable with the ramen offered.

I go here nearly every week for a ramen fix. The price is very reasonable and the food quality is good. The bang bang chicken salad is a good starter (not sure how japanese it is though!) The ramen is extremely tasty and well flavoured. I'm not sure of the dish I always choose but it's got a little spicy... More

Ippudo is a very Japanese Ramen chain. We went to there to have a lunch. We ordered the famous "white broth" ramen with some appetizers. The broth tastes good but it is a bit too greasy since it was made from pig bone and pork. Somehow, my friend thinks Taipei Ippudo's noodle tastes better. The fried octopus tentacle was juicy,... Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
