I ate a business lunch at Yong An recently. As with many meals, we shared many dishes. They were all very good. Beef, seafood and pork. Service was also excellent.

2nd day, 1st local lunch, very promising, very good tastes. We had crab, delicious but hard to eat. We also had duck, shrimp and tofu. Highly recommended to experience Shangaiese food.

This was apparently an old department store but the converted 4th floor restaurant was very pleasant, with high ceilings, private dining areas and a main dining room with a stage. It had very nice old fashioned bathrooms. The food was only ok. Nothing special.

It's a nicely renovated restaurant with some nostalgia feel. The food is nice and typical Shanghai dish. Service is good. However it's overpriced, 5 pax without any alcohol costed 1400 yuan, no expensive dishes like lobster or crab or shark fin. Good for business dining...More

We found this restaurant by coincident and were quite surprised to see such a stylish restaurant hidden on the sixth floor of a rather unnoticeable building. The food was very fresh (we had various kinds of fish), the staff was very friendly and the general...More

Since it was about a mile away, we had the concierge at our hotel write out where we wanted to go in Chinese and we walked over. We have no idea what it said, but when we showed it to several people on the street,...More

The décor is initially appealing, with installations that are supposed to make you think of Old Shanghai, and even fully costumed opera performances from time to time. But the food itself is massively overpriced and not particularly tasty. In other words ... this is basically...More
