I enjoyed having a drink at sunset but only one drink because it is so overpriced. I stayed here and i did not like my experience whatsoever. $3,000 USD for 4 weeks and we were told there would be breakfast included- turns out that my breakfast tab ended up being over $1,020.00 by the third week there! On top of... More

I wasn't sure if it was a hotel but they let us sit here and order drinks and enjoy the view while awaiting the sunset. Nice little sets along the shore and very scenic. Drinks were average price for the town and it was more higher end than further down the beach.

As part of the big group we reserved the New Years Eve dinner in Cafe de Playa. We arrived at 10pm and got our first appetizer at 11:50pm. The food was not properly cooked and crazy overpriced. The service was slow and we had to ask for the same thing few times without any reaction from the staff. Don't go!!!

It looked like a nice place for New Years eve - on the beach, the owner told us they are bringing live band for the occasion and we specifically asked if they will have chicken on the menu as my wife can only eat chicken. We showed up at 10pm and soon thereafter we placed the order. First of all... More

I have been here many times, but apparently New Years day they have inadequate staff to serve promptly or even get us menus within 45 minutes of asking for them. We never got the water that we requested. It took so long to get our drinks we gave up on the idea of getting food. The place was not overly... More

Terrible - Not for USA standards - Felt ripped off - Don't go We went there on our last night in Cocos and ordered the octopus and a seafood pasta. After waiting an hour the food arrived. Octopus was hard, salty and tasteless. Believe me as I am Spanish and eaten octopus quite often. This us the worst octopus I... More

They are a little hard to find but worth asking. The restaurant is behind the small hotel on the edge of the beach. Smallish portions, but very good. Did not like the fact that i had to pay for water for the teenagers, but not a deal breaker.

Been for family dinner last night and we were very satisfied. Service was excellent, the setting is great overlooking the beach. You dine listening to the waves crushing and watching the sunset. The food was very good. I had the avocado and shrimps salad which was really excellent. For main course I had the seafood spaghetti, which also was very... More

The Riu concierge recommended the restaurant to us and made dinner reservations for our family. We were dropped off at the main street, so it was a brief 10-minute walk along the beach. The restaurant was easy to find, and our table was waiting out front. The location is beautiful - right next to the beach so you can hear... More

We were in Playa del Coco for over a week and this meal had to be the best. The restaurant is nicer than the name implies, but also casual. It is close to the Las Palmas condos (in the opposite direction from town) The music was soft and tasteful. The outdoor set-up was lovely. The drinks were good, and THE... More
