We enjoyed all meals we had there. Will go back on our next trip to eat there again. The staff and service were some of the best in Costa Rica.

We loved the Chateaubriand which came with three different sauces. They also brought us an amuse bouche to start and wonderful baked breads. We enjoyed breakfast each morning as well. They bring freshly baked banana bread and freshly squeezed juice as well. Very romantic setting!

We didn't have time to eat at the restaurant proper, but we did visit the bar. The coffee and cocktails were fantastic!

Costa Rica is a very informal place. He will not need a jacket but I would not go there in shorts during dinner. But otherwise no one will bother you if you wear jeans or other informal wear.
