We had a wonderful meal with a world class view. It was just a feeling but it seams this place is due for an updating of the menu and the decor. Not a complete over haul but just some improvements. Not a complaint just an...More

The food is good but it is way over priced, it has a very new view and the guys are dressed in a medieval way, so that looks cool, the service was very good too..

The view is spectacular however the food is average as its service. Offerings on the menu where over price which I assume is because of the view.. nothing especial about the cuisine in here

Great old restaurant that you can visit the Monastere’s Chapel. Amazing view of San Jose in Costa Rica, great food, service and wines. If you like onions I would recommend the French onions soup, delicious!!

Sitting high in the mountains over San Jose in a former monastery, La Monastere offers breathtaking views of the city, attentive service, and an extensive menu with local cuisine heavily influenced with European tastes. I visited for a business dinner with a large enough group...More
