Somebody recommended to us the Mooring Fish café off the road from the Ngatangia Church, in the Muri Beach area, so we tried it. What a nice surprise, the food was excellent, the Hamburgers were really large and tasty. Once we ordered our meal, it did not take long before we got served! The Café had nice shady coverings, and... More

I dined here as a part of the buggy tour package, I ate the seared tuna fish sandwich. It was so delicious and fresh I ended up ordering another :)

Fresh fish is the best way to describe the food here We have as many lunches as possible here. Just remember lots of other people know about it too. Also the meals are large so turn up hungry & leave full

I live on the island, but The Mooring is still my go to place for great food, great service and great scenery. The food is incredibly fresh and even when they are busy (which is pretty much all the time) they still greet you with a smile and the food is never more than 15 minutes away.

Sandwich style options, the FOB was recommended & can understand why. Had just reopened on the last day of our stay and was included as part of our buggy price, or we would have gone back again but sadly ran out of time. Not the usual setting, right off the road but worth hunting it down.

Really liked the place, the atmosphere, sea breeze. Went with the recommendation FOB. Feels okay as a whole, dont like the bread being not crispy but maybe soft bread is the way to go. Their crispy and well seasoned fish paired with the lime mayo itself though is out of this world!! Would go for a Fish and Chips +... More

This is the only restaurant on the island that my wife and I returned to on our vacation. The service is fast and friendly. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. The portions are huge. We split a meal for our second visit and had plenty to eat. This restaurant did not disappoint and was everything we had heard... More

Great food, gluten free options available. Beautiful outside eating. Friendly, helpful service. While on Rarotonga, it's one of the places you must experience.

Relaxed takeaway or sit at lagoon side tables. Fresh fish grilled or crumbed on bread, with salads or rice. Excellent value lunch - a must do during a week on Raro.
