Arriving at Seven Glaciers on the Tram is a special experience in and of itself. The view is phenomenal. And, in a rarity for dining experiences, the food and service are better than the view. It's worth the trip from Anchorage. Make a reservation as the restaurant sometimes closes mid-week.

Granted we are picky, but when you go to a fine dining establishment you expect a high level of service. Our service was mediocre, not horrible, but lacking. It started off by not being offered the chef's choice menu which we learned about from another patron at the bar. We switched to this delightful choice after we had already ordered... More

The food was delicious and the cocktails inventive. My only hang up is it seems like lunch is kids hour at McDonalds

My suggestion is try for a lunch not dinner if there in winter to hopefully get the view. Maybe just go for drinks... Skip Bore Tide bar and grill as a sub. Dress for cold in layers!! Food was good but grossly overpriced for tiny portions. Staff was welcoming and competent though. Fun to do the gondola. Nice food presentation.

Okay, first off the ambiance if this mountain top (too if the tram, actually) reminds me of wonderful ski resort mountain top restaurants and bars in the Alps. Your view from the bar is straight down the mountain. The food, drinks and service is definitely 4 star. You do not have to be skiing/boarding to access the restaurant for lunch... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this place! Went with my family, made reservations and got a free ride to the restaurant. Also had the best salmon of my life. Will definitely return.

The view can't be beat, especially at sunset, often literally above the clouds. Spend your day on the famed Mt Alyeska skiing (or hiking during warmer months) and then enjoy melt in your mouth filet paired with one of hundreds of wines hand picked by the sommelier. My favorite restaurant in Alaska.

This is a wonderful restaurant for both its view and its food, which is unusual. The service is also top quality. Time your seating so you can see sunset in the summer and, perhaps, observe the tidal bore roll in on Turnagain Arm.

My husband decided to treat me to a wonderful 30th birthday celebration by planning a trip to visit Girdwood. We stayed at Alyeska for a full on lush experience and easy access for him to the slopes. Since it was such a big birthday for me, we decided to splurge and have dinner at Seven Glaciers, especially since neither of... More
