Even when the weather is cloudy the views are amazing. Sitting at 1500 feet above sea level, on top of a mountain, the surrounding mountaintops look like islands when it's overcast. And when it's clear you get amazing views of the entire Girdwood arctic rainforest valley. Your commute from the hotel Alyeska is an aerial tramcar. The restaurant is one... More

There's a little table out in a corner on the window side of the place, near the tram... it's very intimate and is maybe the best place you'll ever sit for a meal. Make sure you set aside at least an hour for this experience... you'll want to savor every detail. Wear a warm coat. You'll be riding the tram... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Alaska. You take a picturesque tram ride from the fabulous Alyeska Resort. The views from the top at the Seven Glaciers restaurant are incredible. There is a view from every table You can sit at the bar which faces the glaciers or sit on the other side with beautiful views... More

We take visitors to Seven Glaciers and they always have a great time. The food is always amazing. We tried the tasting menu and absolutely loved it. Service is very good. It's fine dining but not pretentious. You can show up in jeans (hey, it's Alaska!) and never feel out of place. Tram ride up the mountain is free if... More

The views from the restaurant were beautiful. Felt like you were dining in the clouds. The food was mediocre at best, very pricey. The cabbage salad sounded delicious but was inedible. The wait staff was tremendous.

If you want to plan a special dinner to impress your wife or guests than this is it. Warning this place is expensive but the food and service are consistent. Definitely 5 stars and the location and views are breathtaking. Make sure to book a couple of days ahead as they are usually busy and if you have a booking... More

Everything was wonderful! It helps to make a reservation, but it isn't necessary if there is availability! Loved the decor and just the "feeling" you have in that place! Highly recommend!

My wife and I recently traveled to Alaska for our honeymoon and as we researched places to see, stay and eat, Seven Glaciers Restaurant was a must. Dining in Alaska turns out to be rather unimpressive as there are few nice restaurants, so we thought this might be an exception. We chose Seven Glaciers for our first night out and... More

The views on the Tram ride to this restaurant are nothing short of "great". The restaurant displays Triple A 4 Diamond Award rating plagues, but I don't know how they deserved to acquire them. The service at the entry desk was slow and apathetic. The young waiter had a great attitude and did his best to make the experience better,... More
