Very nice place to get a Soup and Sandwich in Juneau, AK. Prices are good for Juneau and the food always tastes great. It is my go-to lunch stop when I am on business in the city. Coffee and light breakfast is served in the morning.

It is delicious. The second thing I love about this fried rice is it is DELICIOUS! My only complaint is I asked for an extra poached egg and didn't get one but...here is what is so great about this rice (aside from being delicious). The kimchi is custom made right there at the Rookery. They put that on one side.... More

This was my first visit here. I had heard there was very good food and it's always busy. Because of this information I was excited to try it and made sure to make a reservation. Lucky for us I planned ahead. They have very good reservation system, online and phone conversations to reconfirm. We had the window seat with street... More

Had read good things about The Rookery, but their choice of vegetarian food was extremely limited. One in our party ate the brussel sprouts and salmon chorizo, and said it was delicious.

We stopped in for dinner and they were able to squeeze us in. I would recommend making a reservation if you have the option. They were out of salmon, which was a little disappointing, so we both had the halibut. It turned out not to be disappointing at all! They also had a good selection of wines.

We were guided here for lunch by locals, and boy were they on point! A nice place to eat lunch, have great coffee, and eat chowder and/or (recommend "and") a sandwich. Local art decorates the walls of this downtown cafe, and the people are super nice as well. A must stop while in Juneau!

Stopped by while on a cruise with some friends. Cab driver recommended this place as a local staple with great food. He was so right. Flounder chowder , and a turkey sandwich with explosive flavors. My friends had the burgers...and they were awesome . Don't forget to end your meal with one of their amazing cookies. This is the real... More

The Rookery was a pleasant change from most of the restaurants in downtown Juneau. We just had a few small plates for our dinner but they also had large plates. The food was wonderful as well as creative. This is a restaurant worth looking for if you want someplace that that has more upscale, interesting food.

The people who run this place are awesome. Sweet treats are fun and the coffee splendid. Everyone who lives in Juneau knows this is a wonderful hang out and sip spot. Try the Rookery and you'll be back!
