I always order a cookie with my lunch when I go to Polar Treats. You might think $2.50 for a cookie is expensive but if you get the coconut and macadamia nut cookie, that's a bargain. I am glad I don't live in Ketchikan or I would get one every day. They make a nice sandwich but I eat there... More

If you're ever in Alaska and need to feel a little bit colder, Polar Treats is a great place to get an ice cream. It's run by locals and open year round, which isn't a a given in Ketchikan. The prices are also very reasonable for Alaska. My waffle cone of mint ice cream was quite good, and the service... More

We found this in a tiny mall and it looked so cosy we stopped here for pastries and coffee! The coffee and cakes were good and the staff friendly. They also have free wi-fi for customers which is a bonus for cruise ship visitors.

Run and owned by locals. Quick sandwich by nice and friendly staff. Good value. Inside an indoor mall. They also have ice cream. Ask what the paper bag hanging from the door is for-very interesting.

Excellent espresso drinks, mouth watering sandwiches and wraps, great, friendly staff (?owner), quick service, all combined to make this one of our favorite spots in Ketchikan. Recommend packing sandwiches to carry on your walks/hikes around town.

They had a nice selection of things. Ice cream seemed to be quite popular. Coffee and lemon-iced pound cake were my choices. They had free Wi-Fi. They had a few tables inside and out in a covered area. Everything is pretty pricy in Alaska and this was no exception, but it hit the spot. Nice to be able to sit... More

Ate lunch here several times during our stay in Ketchikan. Great tasting deli sandwiches made to order. Everything looks to be homemade here - great tasting cookies and excellent coffee selection too.

On our way back to our cruise ship, stopped for a coffee and snack. Great service, free wifi, good latte/esspresso drinks and scones! Definitely recommend.

We popped in for a snack and drink. The bear claw was yummy and so were the coffees. A little pricy at around $5 for a large star bucks style coffee, but we are in Alaska after all. The free WiFi and tables by the window were a nice place to enjoy the view from a heated environment.
