Beachcomber Inn is closed (July 2013). It's a shame for it was a great option for summer dining in Petersburg.
The Beachcomber is only open during the tourist months of summer. They have a great menu (specializing is seafood). Fish is caught locally and always fresh. It has a nice, oceanside environment and reservations are recommended. Can be a little pricey.
With great views - xlnt service - a menu with a nice variety of choices... annnnd superb = fresh & nicely prepared & presented food ... we highly recommend it !

It's an old cannery building that has been converted to a seasonal restaurant that is only open during the summer months. It's drafty, poorly lit and while the food is better than average, the prices, even for Southeast Alaska, are a bit over the top....More
