Menu seemed limited. We had the ginger fried chicken and smoked pork belly. The chicken was quite tough, but tasty enough. The pork was so-so.

One of the few places you'll find good, local, craft beers in Sapa. Add good views and good food to that, you've got The Hill Station.

I did the cooking class here for $29 which included a brief market tour to buy some of the ingredients, five amazing courses and two glasses of rice wine to taste with our feast. The food was all local Hmong food and we prepared a range of dishes including chicken, smoked buffalo, homemade tofu, bannana flower salad and fish. The... More

Very nice restaurant, looks fancy, on the higher priced compared to most other restaurants in town. But if you want a nice quiet and upscale meal, this is the place. We had the sweet potato appetizer which needed a little more flavor, the sea salt did help some. We split four entrees between the three of us, fried chicken, sausage,... More

It was a great idea for the restaurant to hold cooking classes. I enjoyed the session with their H'mong chef and cooked a 5-course meal. The food was easy to cook n can be adapted back home. Basically, it was a fun n educational session. I loved the tofu dish best. It was amazing to see how it taking form... More

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the food especially after reading the hype on their website. The menu is a limited and pretty expensive for what you get. I was really disappointed with the chicken and wild ginger which ended up being some fried knuckles of... More

I respect the ethos of this restaurant - serving traditional local food for western palates. And the ambience is cosy yet chic. But the meal was disappointing: - "fresh" juice from a store bought bottle - smoked buffalo and pickled vegetables (former cold, latter hot...would have expected the reverse, if anything) - greasy trout spring rolls that fell apart at the... This spot served delicious locally-sourced food and recipes from Sapa's nearby villages. We were to impressed by the susu with fried garlic and the two-types tofu. My friend also got the village chicken which he raved about. The food is served the local way- with bowls and a mountain of rice upon which you put the dishes you order. We... More

Been twice to this restaurant during our 2 day stay in Sapa. Was not impressed by the meat dishes, but the veggies and especially the trout were great. Cooked in banana leaves deserves a high mark, but the spring rolls of raw trout are amazing! The French owner also serves a good wine for a decent price which is a... More

We come here for suggestion about pork belly. But with me, it isn't smt signature. The food is ok, you can enjoy. But not smt outstanding that you must try in sapa.
