About
Glyn and Alison, have run the Castle Inn since 2016. A family-run pub, restaurant and rooms located on the Pembrokeshire coast - just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Having worked in kitchens all her life Alison has gone from helping college students progress their skills in culinary classrooms to heading up the Castle Inn kitchen. Her team are keen to support local as much as possible, using nearby suppliers whenever available. The menu is ever-changing but you are sure to find hearty pub classics, light bites, and family favourites throughout. The Inn also has three guest bedrooms (with en-suite bathrooms and tea/coffee facilities), a large beer garden, free off-road parking, and is dog-friendly

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A large group of friends stumbled across this lovely pub. We had dogs with us so we sat outside in the garden which was ideal. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. There is a varied menu from small snacks through to full...meals and a well stocked bar with seasonal specials such as mulled wine available too. Despite us turning up without booking all of our food and drinks arrived quickly and were very tasty. A real gem of a place and we’ll certainly be back when we’re next in the area.More

A lovely pub with lots of character and space inside and out. What a fabulous Sunday lunch - the beef was cooked to perfection with lots of vegetables, a plentiful delicious plate of food thoroughly enjoyed by all. The owners and team of staff are...really accommodating and can’t do enough for you. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a beautiful Sunday afternoon.More

Dropped in for lunch on bank holiday weekend and was very pleased. Sunday menu had the customary meat/veg lunch options but also various others like fish’n’chips, burgers etc. We had the fish’n’chips and were impressed - one of the most tasty I’ve had for a...long time. Staff were very helpful and friendly - definitely recommend.More

Returned to our favourite place to eat and drink in Pembrokeshire. As normal we had the best welcome and fantastic food. If you visit here you won’t be disappointed. It’s so good to to have a friendly local so far from home.

We had an amazing meal here, again . The football was on the television but we were able to sit in the other bar away from the large screen . The food here never disappoints. My fiancé had the faggots and said they were very...tasty . I am vegetarian and most places only offer the same goods - usually curry . I opted to have the No Catch Pie. It was amazing . Absolutely delicious. I would definitely have it again . We didn’t have room for anything else but the people next to us had the homemade scones. They looked really good .Would advise booking your table as they are often booked up .More

Great Atmosphere in fantastic surroundings. Took our dog who was most welcome. They even had a menu for dogs! So he can recommend the chicken and rice. We had some amazing starters and beautifully cooked main courses. Despite being busy the staff were courteous and...helpful and service was excellent. Smalling parking area adjacent to pub. 10/10More
