My husband and I had such a lovely evening here. Food was absolutely top notch as was the wine and service. We were made to feel very welcome and loved that our Basset puppy was also allowed to join us for dinner- owners and waiter are very nice people. Can't fault this place- lots of hard work and thought has... More

We booked a couple of nights as a birthday treat for me. When we arrived there was no one in reception , no bell or instructions. We wandered around looking fir someone & eventually went down the steep steps to the restaurant where we found the barman. It was about 6pm. He expressed surprise there was no one in the... More

Had a really lovely night here! We had the whole place to ourselves so we had a lovely room upgrade and the Cellar Bar restaurant to ourselves - they pulled out all the stops and took great care of us. Room was spacious, quiet and well appointed (lots of lovely art on the walls too!). The evening meal in the... More

Went for an evening meal here in the cellar bar. Really lovely atmosphere and felt very much like a sophisticated wine cellar, nice touch. Huge selection of spirits and wines which were displayed beautifully at the bar. The food was beautiful I had the crab to start which was perfect. Had the lamb for main, the flavours used were so... We ate in the cosy cellar restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the warm atmosphere and delicious meal. The food is fantastic and the selection of gins and wines completed the evening. Definitely plan to return and enjoy the outside area!

Arrived home from work to be told that a table had been booked last minute as a celebration for me. Cocktails wonderful, staff lovely, food fantastic, atmosphere great. In all a really happy and memorable occasion. Thank you everyone for making it a special evening. Can't wait to return.

Last night I was treated to a most sumptuous Christmas Dinner at Llys Meddyg. The Smoked Salmon, Turkey and Xmas pudding were all delicious, well balanced and well presented - and included local ingredients found in the area. The Chefs really pulled out an original twist to the "Christmas Dinner" ... I hope they won't mind if I steal a... More

We had a week in Newport Pembs, so tried nearly every establishment there - this place looked great from the outside and the menu looked good so in we went. I found going down to the cellar bar very hard, the stairs were steep and high and not very encouraging for older couples or babes in arms - the stairs... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat as a family of four and a dog. If the place we were heading for was not booked up we would not have found this gem of a place. We nearly did not ask if they had space as it looked a bit posh to take a dog, but they have a cellar... More

Arrived Friday lunch - with 3 hungry children. The food and service sublime. One of the best in the village especially if your looking to have a special and gastronomic time. Thanks to Ed and Lou as always!
