We picked this place because the food and price was what we wanted. The food was great and service was also. The fish was fresh not frozen. I could have easily eaten more but I'm a glutton and love a huge fish meal.

Place was recommended and I found it quite good, even discounts for the 60+ if you are cheeky enough to ask. Thought the fish was very good, the chips could have been better. Alaskan Halibut House is a cross between a restaurant/cafe and a take...More
After a long day of hiking, stopped in for late lunch. The Halibut was excellent. The strive was very good and the portions were generous.

Easy to find on a main street; large parking lot. Place one's order at the counter, staff bring the food to you. The fish portions were large, fresh and crispy. Halibut was a little pricey for "fast food," but, it was good!
Fresh fish, decent menu includes more than fish. Choose from various sandwiches, chicken, salad bar and of course fish which is the specialty here. The food is very good, but expensive. The serving portions of fish could be more. A little skimpy considering price. Fish...More
The halibut house has a good sandwich and I love the calamari strips. But if you order the calamari, order it without fries because you will get more. The restaurant use to be much better but for some reason has gone down hill the last...More
