Elegant with a feeling of the Arizona desert incorporated in the décor and menu. We thoroughly enjoyed all our selections and the excellent service. The unique and tasty menu incorporates desert plants - cactus foam, etc. This is a MUST for anyone visiting the Phoenix area. Note: the restaurant is located in the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass which... More

The ambiance matches the service at Kai, and the chef outdid himself. We loved the drink options (enjoyed fruit martinis) and loved the Native American influence of the dishes.

My wife and I treated ourself to an awesome dinner here. A real journey in food. You'll quite literally taste the culture of the indian tribes people. All fresh ingredients locally grown and dishes that are works of art. This is probably the top 3 places we have every eaten in the US. You will not be disappointed.

Kai is an amazing and intimate Arizona dining experience... I just spent my 50th birthday at Kai and was impressed with the attentive 5 star service and presentation of the Native American influence on each of the servings. The food was incredible and each course was offered with an inspiring explanation of the spirit and importance of the special ingredients... More

This was a memorable food experience. Dinner unfolds at a leisurely pace - our meal occupied three languid hours. Every dish offered a unique flavor experience. The buffalo tenderloin was a highlight. The charred hahl soup was excellent. I ordered three courses thinking the portions would be small. It was too much food. So unless you are a big eater,... Even if you've eaten at many of the premier multi-course restaurants such as French Laundry, Mini Bar, Per Se, Alinea, etc., Kai takes a unique approach to the food experience. We did the multi-course "Journey" tasting menu and were wowed by the authenticity, inventiveness and fresh quality of their focus on Native American cuisine! We agree that it's the best... More

We have dined at Kai Restaurant quite a few times, but this time was far and away the best experience. Service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were very well taken care of. Our waiter told us the story of the unique Native American paintings on the front cover of the menus. The chef sent a small bite... More

Unique menu offerings highlighting of local herbs and produce. Great wine selection. Not cheap (>$100/person with drinks), but worth trying if you are open to new flavors and unique combinations. Service was outstanding as well.
